I have 4pc t8 for the sexy, sexy bonus, and I'm wondering when I should break it for t9? If I should break it at all really. >.> Any t9 I get will be badge bought only, so no shiny trophy or token t9 for my lady cow. :(

| Silly Achievements? |

So, on Saturday, I got my 4th weapon skill to 400, so I got a shiny achievement! Yay!
( but wait... )
See where I got it? I got it in a Twin Val'kyr 10-man hard mode attempt. I'm an Elemental Shaman. I stabbed Eydis Darkbane in the foot and got my skillup. I thought it was amazing and embarassing all at the same time. I mean, how many casters get their final weapon skillup by smacking a boss? We generally shouldn't BE that close. But I was positioning myself to be close to the portal, and apparently I got too close. :x
So, anyone else get an awesome achievement in a silly or embarassing sort of way? I'm the person that has "Going Down?" On 2 toons completely by accident, and hit lvl 80 by discovering Fordragon Hold. I'm sure there has to be other people that got some achievements in a round-about sort of way.

Still have a headache. The right side of my head huuuuuuurts.
Got mail today. One was my Fanime business cards. Nyurr... The designs on both sides cut off the left side a bit. Not anything I can't live with but still a bit annoyed since I discussed it with the seller beforehand to make sure he knew how I wanted it.
Second, got Hatano's present in the mail. I got him a photo book of California by Art Wolfe. On Amazon, its listed condition was new. ......This totally isn't new. .-___- I can't give him a used book! GRR. I'm glad I started early on this though so I have time to correct it.
Third, got the Yes We Can tote bag to put Kamiya's presents in. This is the only time that came that I'm 100% satisfied with. Looks exactly like it does in the picture.

Does the hit aura that draenei have still not apply to pets when they are to far away? I know I am hit capped. (Well, I'm off by like, .3%) I automatically assumed I would only have to get my hit up to 7% because of Heroic Presence. But I heard that that hit aura doesn't apply to my pet. And as a BM I know I want my pet to be beating in face just as much as me and my pew pew lasers. Anywho, does Heroic Presence apply to my pet? Or do I have to gem hit to 8% no matter what because of fail racial.

| Question about Computer |

So I want to get Wrath but not sure that my comp can handle it. Specifically, my Video card. I have an old Macbook with Intel GMA 900 card, 1.8 Ghz, and 2GB ram. Can I level in Northrend with this? Can I load Dalaran/WG? If not, can I just not go to Northrend and stay in Outlands and level, or will installing Wrath make that impossible, too?
Asking because I'm not exactly a comp person, and was going to wait until I get a new one next year, but then I saw the T10 Shaman preview, and it makes me want to at least reach 80 when 3.3 comes out, so.

We’re investigating it now and may be replacing its network card. We’ll update this status post when we believe the issue is resolved.
Update – 12:51 pm (PST): Turns out that the server is actually the victim of a DDoS attack. Our admins are working on rerouting the attack traffic and getting things back to normal. Please keep an eye on this post, as we’ll update it when we have any more relevant information to this server.
Update – 1:40 pm (PST): This should be resolved now. We’ve re-routed the traffic from the DDoS and rebooted the server. We’re keeping an eye on it to make sure that things run smoothly. If you continue to have problems, please contact support. |

Hi WoW ladies! The industrious and somewhat lazy kooky warlock is back! And now level 80!
But.. now that I am eighty I've realized I honestly have no clue what to do on gear, aside from getting hit capped. : /
I have a few ToC, both normal and heroic, under my belt but I'm still not sure what to do now. Given many people aren't interested in running Naxx anymore (LIES! Naxx is still fun dammit!) and solely focusing on either ToC or Ulduar I'm left standing with Susan the Fel Guard going...

Thursday: 4am - 7am
Friday: 6am - 1pm
Saturday: 4am - 8am
Sunday: 7am - 8am
I have a presentation and a paper (that I didn't do) due today. I have a billion charts and diagrams and papers due tomorrow. |

I want to get your opinions on something in game. I play a ret paladin most of the time but feel like I've hit a large wall with her. It is hard to get into groups, even in my own guild because I'm melee or I'm another pally. Thus, I've taken to alts and at least I feel a little better about my shaman, for now.
My questions are....Do you think DPS take the easy way out? Are we too lazy and don't want to heal or tank that we pick DPS because it's easier? Or do you think that all the different classes are hard and you just have to learn to play them right?
I've read a few blogs where people complain about ret and how easy it is, so I wondered if that is the general consensus.
I'll post my answers and feelings a little later on as the discussion goes on.
